About the client

Credit Canada is a non-profit credit counselling agency. They are Canada’s first and longest-standing credit counselling agency, serving Canadians since 1966. Their mission is to help people get out of debt so they can get back into life by providing free debt and credit counselling services to anyone seeking help with their personal finances and unsecured debts.

Challenge

While Credit Canada has been in the proverbial game for several decades, insights in 2023 revealed that a lack of innovation has led to a significant decline in market share; Credit Canada was down over the last 5 years.

This analysis led Credit Canada to develop a new brand strategy and identity to help kickstart the agency’s renewal and progress. The goal was to propel Credit Canada into the 21st century through a modern, compelling brand narrative and a refreshed brand identity that embodied transformation and innovation.
